The music that I teach is extremely diverse and reflects music that I have enjoyed performing and learning myself.  Below is a general list of the music genres that I have taught students over the years.  In general I view myself as being very open and flexible to the interests and goals of my students.  That is primarily because I enjoy learning myself and being stretched so that my musical universe is a bit wider after working with each and every one of my students.  When I began teaching in my 20’s I was introduced to music by students who were 10-20 years older than myself.  The gaps in my musical education were bolstered by learning music of the 40’s to the 70’s.  At present I enjoy being introduced to music from movies and video games from my students who range from ages 7-62.

The list below is not exhaustive so feel free to contact me if there are music directions that interest you that might not be on this list.
